Georgina Steinsky-Schwartz,

Georgina Steinsky Schwartz is currently President and CEO Imagine Canada. A graduate of the University of Toronto, she is a bilingual executive with experience in the federal public sector, the corporate sector, and the nonprofit sector.

During her time in government, she served as Associate Deputy Minister in the federal Department of Regional and Industrial Expansion and as Deputy Minister of Supply and Services. In the corporate sector, she held senior positions with Bell Canada, Manulife Financial, and the Bata Shoe Company.

Her experience includes work aimed at improving the effectiveness of charitable and non profit organizations.Georgina is also volunteer Vice Chair of Plexxus, a nonprofit healthcare sector organization improving the purchasing and financial management practices of 12 of the largest hospitals in the Greater Toronto area, and a member of the Board of the Bata Shoe Museum.
